Hello again or hello for the first time! Today I have 10 Habits of
So without further ado, let’s get into the top 10 Habits Of Successful Entrepreneurs.
If you’d rather watch the video you can do that below.
1. Meditate Daily
The first tip I have for you is to meditate every single day for at least 10 minutes a day. I know for myself, I heard this tip so many times, but I never actually implemented it into my daily habits. And since I have, my business has completely taken off. I feel much less stress. I feel more creative. The ideas just flow to me. When shit hits the fan (and it most definitely will as an entrepreneur) it doesn’t feel like it’s just all these things coming crashing down on me anymore.
So it has really helped my business a lot.
Two different apps that you can use for your daily meditation are called Insight Timer and also Headspace. I believe that these are two of the best apps out there for meditating. These apps have full on guided meditations that you can set a timer to do even a five-minute meditation, or a 20-minute meditation, whatever you might have time for. Doing this daily will help you to create more
2. Unplug…. but for reals
My second tip for you is to unplug. I have made it a habit to not check my emails, to not check my Facebook, to not check my Instagram until noon every single day. I literally have had to put a timer on my phone to turn this into a habit, where I just don’t check the interwebs until noon, or until I’ve gotten all of the things that I need to do in my business done for the day. Otherwise, I feel like I’m checking Facebook, and I’m just reacting to all the questions and messages that I’m getting. Or I’m checking my email and I’m again reacting to other people and what they need from me, instead of putting my effort and energy into my business very first.
Two different apps you can use to help you with this are — Stay
As an entrepreneur it is critical that you complete the work YOU need to do in your business first before reacting to everything on social media.
3. Journal Daily
The third tip is to journal daily. I don’t think that there is a single tip I have given you yet, or in this entire post today that has changed my life more than journaling. This is also one of those
Starting this year in January, I told myself I really wanted to get more into journaling and manifesting daily, and really truly turning it into a habit. And I cannot tell you how many amazing things have happened to me in my business, in my personal life, in my environment, in my finances, this year because I have woken up in the morning and I’ve actually done those morning
When I do my journaling, typically what I’ll do is I will write it out in the present tense. How I want my future self to be, what I want to be doing, how I want to feel, etc. I write it as if it is my current present. This has really helped me to shift my energy from “what do I need to do today” but instead “who do I need to be today so that I can achieve these goals that I want to achieve?” It also keeps me focused on those future goals and that future self. It’s just been a really, truly transformational habit that I have implemented into my business. And I hope that it helps you to do the same.
4. Move Yo Body Daily
Tip number four is to work out daily. You guys know that, yes, while I am an entrepreneur and I have all these other things going on, I still absolutely love fitness.
I found weightlifting about six years ago, and it completely changed my life. It was the very first form of working out or exercise that I found that I truly enjoyed.
If working out daily is a habit that you don’t currently already have, and it is something that you’re wanting to do, I suggest trying out many different forms of exercise to find the one that really lights you up. The one that you really enjoy. And the one that you can see yourself doing every single day. That is the best way to find that one form of exercise that you really enjoy, whether it is running, or swimming, or lifting weights in the gym, or going for a hike. It can be anything and everything. But once you find that one thing that you really truly enjoy, that is when you’ll really be able to turn it into a daily habit.
5. No More Negative Nancy’s
Number five is to surround yourself with positive people. This has been a game changer for me.
Instead of listening to the naysayers, the people in my life who didn’t believe in what I was doing, or who felt like I couldn’t be successful in what I was endeavoring to do with my life, I have replaced those people with positive people mainly through Facebook. This is what I love about technology, is that I have met people from all over the world who are doing the same things that I am, who have similar dreams as me, who are entrepreneurs, who are wanting to build their online businesses, and it had helped me to connect with those people around the world.
When I am connected with them and their
6. Say “No” More
Number six might surprise you. This is one that I have been really working on this year quite a bit, and that is learning to say no.
The more successful you get, it seems the more people want a little piece of that success pie from you. So, what I have noticed is that I get a lot more emails from people asking me to promote their products on my YouTube channel, or to promote their products on the blog. I’ve also had people reaching out to me via Facebook asking me to be a part of their network marketing company.
I have learned that it is so much better for me to say no unless it is a product I am super excited about, and can’t wait to tell the masses about, or if it happens to be a business opportunity that I am super excited about, that I can’t wait to tell the masses about. Otherwise, I HAVE to say no so that I’m not overwhelming myself. This is another one of those common habits of successful entrepreneurs.
If it’s not a hell yes then its a hell no!
Samantha Hauger
However, keep your eyes and ears open for those really good opportunities that could fit perfectly with you and your business. That’s only happened one time this year with my personal development MLM. I had to say yes to that because that is something that I do every single day already. So I could see myself easily being able to share a product like that.
BONUS HACK FOR ENTREPRENEURS

7. Only 3 “To-Do’s”
Keep your
When I do my morning journaling, part of that journaling is to give myself a little bit of a to-do list. I used to do to do lists that were a mile long, and I would have all these things that I felt like I needed to do. It felt totally overwhelming. What ended up happening is I just totally procrastinated (maybe you can relate? if so leave a comment below).
But, when I keep my to-do list to only three things — three of the very most important things I need to get done for the day — typically, it empowers me to actually want to do them.
I push through that procrastination, and I go get them done.
8. Set Goals With A Strong “Why”
The next habits of successful entrepreneurs is to set goals with a strong why.
Every single month for years and years, Zach and I would on the very first of the month, sit down together and write out our goals for the following month. Sometimes we’d hit those goals, sometimes we wouldn’t, and a lot of times I was writing really long, 10 different things that I want. 10 different goals on that goal list. When it came to the end of the month, I wasn’t very excited or very motivated to complete these
Now I create fewer goals, and when I do create a goal, I put a huge why behind it. I ask myself, “why do I want this?” Then I ask myself even deeper “Okay, well why do I want that?… Okay, well why do I want that?” And I dig deep down into the why, of why I would want to accomplish this goal.
This is going to be fuel for your fire to really actually achieve this goal, and to check it off of your goal list.
9. Think Like Your Customer
Number nine is another one the habits of successful entrepreneurs that might surprise you — think like your ideal customer or ideal client. Since this is a 10 Habits For Highly Successful Entrepreneurs, I figure you are out there selling a product. You have something that you’ve created and you want to sell it.
The best way to be more successful in your business, to have more sales, to have more people buying whatever it is you have to offer, is to really think like your ideal customer or your ideal client.
What are they going through? How are they feeling? What are their struggles? What are their challenges? What lights them up? What gets them excited? What are their goals? What are their aspirations for their life?
When you really get down to thinking like they would think, then you can truly make content that can help them to solve those problems, to help them to get excited, to help them to get motivated, to help them to fix a problem within their own business, or within their own life. And it’s just a really great way for you to be more successful in your own business.
10. Self-Care Ritual
Last but certainly not least, number 10 (my personal favorite) habits of successful entrepreneurs is to have a solid self-care ritual.
Y’all, I am so all about that self-care. It is my priority. I love having some kind of
Maybe it’s as simple as just getting dressed for the day. That helps me a lot to feel ready for my day, ready to take on the world. Or it might be lounging around watching Sex in the City, or watching Friends on Netflix.
Having that self-care ritual where you can really just sit back, relax. Remember, it’s okay as an entrepreneur to take the time for yourself to relax, to not think about business. It’s ok to recharge your batteries so that you can come back into your business ready to crush it.
