This year I’ve been all about the Rose Gold and Copper accents around my house. So of course as the holidays rolled around I was wanting all the feels of a Rose Gold Christmas Tree! Even just typing that out makes me feel like a teenage girl at a Justin Beiber concert–who am I kidding. That would totally be me and my 29 year old self at a Justin Beiber concert. I digress. Here are some of my favorite Rose Gold Christmas decor and a sneek peek look at my Rose Gold Christmas Tree.
Rose Gold Christmas Tree 2017 Update!
Last year was SO much fun having my Rose Gold Christmas Tree! This year I’ve added so many fun new items to both the tree and our apartment so I thought it only necessary to update you all!
It’s funny that I was worried that the large mirror (Totally a $20 Craigslist find) wouldn’t look right behind the tree. Oh boy was I wrong! I absolutely love how this turned out. The reflection of the lights makes the room feel even more magical for the holidays.
I’m completely in love with our new upholstered bed I found on Amazon for only $200. In fact I did a full video on surprising Zach, my fiance, with this gorgeous king sized bed for fathers day. You can check out the video here. This bed has probably been my favorite purchase of 2017 because it was so innexpensive yet high quality.

Do you agree how big of a difference having that mirror makes? Perhaps placing a mirror behind your tree this year will give it that extra POP it needs! I look back at these photos and I’m amazed how much more put-together the Rose Gold Tree looks this year compared to last.
Here are some more resources and decorating tips from the original 2016 blog post.
If you’re looking for Rose Gold Christmas Tree ideas you probably saw the Rose Gold Christmas Tree at Target this year.
Rose Gold Christmas Tree 2016
I ended up deciding to get the Paul Minor Tinsel Tree which I cannot find online anymore to send you a link. I’m so sorry but it has disappeared. When I purchased it I saw that it was on several websites including Amazon, however, today when I went to search for it, it was nowhere to be found. I do think that the Rose Gold Christmas Tree from Target is still an amazing option if you’re looking for a Rose Gold tree.
I knew I wanted a faux fur tree skirt but I didn’t want to pay for an expensive one that would only get used once a year anyway. So I simply used one of my faux lambskins I use to decorate throughout the house. I got mine at Ikea but I see you can find them on Amazon like the one pictured below.
Note the bulldog butt in the bottom right. Isn’t she cute.
Found this little guy at Marshalls and just couldn’t pass him up. He might be one of my favorite ornaments ever! Also, I didn’t want the string for my lights to be very noticeable on the tree especially since I don’t believe they make Rose Gold colored christmas lights. Instead, I went with the copper wire fairy lights. They blend seamlessly with the rose gold christmas tree and I love them so much I know I will be able to use them around the house even after the holiday season… well that is IF I ever take this tree down.
Typically most fairy lights are battery operated but I found some really nice 33 ft long sets that could be plugged in like these ones here.
I also found several of these almost agate christmas ball looking ornaments at Marshalls. They had several different sizes and colors. So I pretty much cleaned out the whole store.
The other matte and shiny rose gold christmas ornaments I picked up at Michaels for very innexpensive. Michaels is always doing big sales and have great coupons. I got these for about 75% off. Score!
If you’re considering a Rose Gold Christmas Tree but are concerned about the color I went ahead and took some photos of the tree before it was decorated so you could get a good idea of the tone. I was worried this tree might be too pink for me but it matched the ornaments SO well. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
Lastly I wanted to share my adorable little metal christmas tree. I’ve had this thing for over 10 years now. It’s from Urban Outfittters and I aaaaalmost donated it when we moved this year but decided not to. I’m SO glad I decided to keep it! It looks so pretty with all of the rose gold christmas balls from Michaels.
There you have it! My Rose Gold Christmas Tree this year. Are you thinking about doing one as well? I hope this inspired you to go for it! You won’t be sad about it!
