Bunglow Living: Our New Little Home!

Hello darling!! It’s been quite the crazy few weeks for us between moving from our adorable little downtown apartment to our new little bungalow. 

Manifesting The Bungalow

For several months leading up to our move I felt totally disempowered and worried about moving out of our apartment. To say I loved that apartment would be a total understatement (See the original Boho Apartment Tour post here). Home has always been my happy place — I’m a pretty solid home-body if you didn’t already know that. I knew we needed to find a new place to live and there were definitely features of a normal house that our apartment didn’t have that I was really longing for (like a washer/dryer & a yard & a garage & more than one bedroom ha).

I began looking in the Flagstaff market for the perfect little house for us at the right price. I even found an excerpt from my journal on May 16th 2018

” I am living in our perfect little home we snagged for a great deal. it’s even more perfect than I imagined! Thank you Universe & Source of all that is for this beautiful gift of a home for our little family.”

For a few months I toiled each day checking all of the apps and websites for the perfect house no little avail. Anything I liked seemed to be just outlandishly priced and anything I felt was a good deal was, for lack of a better term, butt ugly.

One morning, after a sleepless night of fretting over our housing situation I decided “There WILL be the perfect home for us out there. I WILL find one that will make me SO excited that I won’t be so sad to leave this little apartment.” Anytime I felt those fear gremlins in my head telling me that there were no houses in Flagstaff that I will like, I would simply shift back to this affirmation.

Bungalow House Tour!

On September 1st we got to move into the perfect little bungalow. And I couldn’t be happier. It’s SO nice to have a washer/dryer, to be able to simply open the door to let Nala (the bulldogge) outside, to have a garage for storage, to not have to walk a ridiculous distance with my arms full of groceries and to have (gasp) our very own bedroom!
