Looking for the best self tanner? I’ve found the BEST one out there!
I have that horrible complex of being about as pale as they come yet all I really want is to be nice and golden, bronzy tan. It’s totally pointless for me to sit in the sun or tanning booth to attempt to get a tan since really all it does for me is give me more freckles, moles and increases my risk of skin cancer.
Thus I’m a self proclaimed sunless tan expert. I’ve tried damn near every product you can possibly think of — mouses, gels, lotions, gradual tanners, spray tans, tan-in-a-can, bronzers, spray on nylons. I’ve been blotchy. I’ve been orange. I’ve been oompa loompa status. I’ve searched far and wide the the best self tanner product.
St. Tropez Self Tan Express
Of all the products I’ve tried this one has to be my favorite so far. St. Tropez Self Tan Express . It’s the most natural looking self tanner I’ve found thus far. You can see from the photo above how much of a gorgeous deep tan I got. And yes I totally just applied it to one leg so I could show you the difference. You’re welcome ;). My little experiment above was 3 coats of St. Tropez Self Tan Express in a 24 hr period without showering after it had fully developed.
I love it because it looks very natural and applies easily. Since its an express self tan product the color appears quickly. It also contains a bronzer so you can see a bit of a tan right away and it helps you to make sure you hit every spot making it less likely that you get any big blotches. It’s also easy to blend in blotches in case you get one.
I tanned up before going on a cruise this spring. When I got out of the car just before boarding the ship I noticed I had missed a HUGE spot on my calf. It was extremely noticeable and I was mortified! I simply whipped out my St. Tropez Self Tan Express applied a little more mousse and voila! That big white patch was gone AND it blended in seamlessly. It was no longer noticeable at all. Not being blotchy or orangy makes it the best self tanner in my book.
St. Tropez Applicator Mitt
I HIGHLY recommend also getting the St. Tropez Applicator Mitt. It’s a lifesaver for your hands! If you don’t use it you’ll end up with an olive green/orange tinge on your palms. Yeah, not pretty. The applicator mitt protects your hands and helps you to get a super even tan. It’s well worth the extra cost to add in this bad boy.

I can almost guarantee you’re going to fall in love with both of these products! They are in my opinion the best self tanner products on the market now.
